Rail routes
GreenRail facilitates transport links for floriculture and AGF (fruit and vegetables) products by rail via pilots across five routes. The routes to Italy (Milan), Hungary and Romania have already been opened up. Routes to Poland (Poznan) and Switzerland followed in March 2010.
Italy (Milan)
In June 2009, the first containers were successfully dispatched by rail to Milan. Two to three containers are transported to Italy per week.
Hungary & Romania
The route to Hungary and Romania has been operational since 8 December 2009. Since then, one container is transported by rail per week.
Poland & Switzerland
In March, the first containers were dispatched to Poland (Poznan/Warsaw) and Switzerland.
