GreenRail is an initiative of FloraHolland and VGB. GreenRail is a partnership between the following floriculture businesses (exporters), logistics service providers and knowledge institutes:
Bunnik Plants, FPP (Disva), HamiPlant, Hydroplant Westland, Lemkes, Lievaart Export, Quattro Plant, Vida Verde, Waterdrinker, Zurel Planten. Van der Slot Transport, Te Baerts Transport, Unit45, GPA Trans, RSC Rotterdam, HUPAC Intermodal, e-Logistics Control, and Wageningen University.
Participants of Greenrail’s brainstorming group are: Productschap Tuinbouw - Flowers&Food, Van Drie Group, RSM, Erasmus University Rotterdam, VU University Amsterdam, The Dutch Chamber of Commerce, Sjaak van der Vijver, Ewals Cargo Care, Kennisalliantie, and Platform Agrologistiek.
GreenRail works with rail operator HUPAC for the execution of the rail transport. Logistics management provider e-Logistics Control is responsible for operational management.
